The Research and Development Team at Resodyn Corporation is composed of a diverse mix of technical experts that include Tissue Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Three-quarters of the team have advanced degrees. Each team member was selected because of their inquisitive, hands-on, problem-solving disposition and history of generating innovative solutions to technically challenging problems.

The R&D group has a heavy emphasis on biotechnology ranging from biodiesel fuel production to growing monoclonal antibodies, developing recombinant proteins and tissue engineering. In addition to biotechnology, Resodyn Corporation has extensive experience with industrial chemical process technology. These areas include process intensification, conversion of fatty acids into esters, chemical extractions and separations, filtration and membrane technology, thermal spraying of polymer materials, and chemical mixing.

Research is supported by an outstanding prototyping shop; mechanical design team and well equipped, in-house analytical capability including cell counters, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, atomic absorption spectrometry and fourier transform infrared spectrometry. Resodyn Corporation has a fully equipped analytical laboratory that includes a full range of wet chemical, instrumental and microbiological analytical equipment.
