Resodyn Corporation was recently awarded a competitive Phase I research contract entitled, "Next Generation Boat Hull Impact and Abrasion Proofing," from the United States Navy. The proposed coating uses Resodyn Corporation's patent pending PTS technology in conjunction with a tough thermoplastic material presently being researched.
The principal investigator on this project is Mr. Steve Galbraith, Senior Mechanical Engineer.
This year, Resodyn Corporation won competitive contracts
with the National Institutes of Health, the Defense Advanced Research Projects
Agency, the Department of Transportation, and the United States Army, Navy and
Air Force. Winning these awards is a
testament to the merit and potential of the underlying science Resodyn
Corporation scientists were able to exhibit, and is based in no small part on
Resodyn Corporation’s credibility and expertise in being able successfully
commercialize innovative products; giving the government significant return on
Kevin Lane, Director of Resodyn Engineered Polymeric Systems, has been invited to present at the Coating 2012 Conference in St. Louis Missouri (October 9-11th 2012).
Kevin's presentation entitled "Beyond Powder Coatings" explains how Resodyn's patent pending Polymer Thermal Spray (PTS) Technology provides the end user with a field applied, fully cured coating.
In addition to Kevin's presentation on October 10th, Resodyn Engineered Polymeric Systems will be showcasing the PTS System and the line of ResoCoatTMcoatings as an exhibitor

Society seminar on June 13 in Denver Colorado. Staff has been asked to present at a special
section dedicated to Resodyn Acoustic Mixers (RAM), in recognition of its
growing prominence in the international energetics industry.
The International Pyrotechnics Society holds
biennial seminars at various locations around the globe, providing experts in
the pyrotechnic field the latest and most up to date information in the science
and technology of energetic materials.
