BSME or MSME Senior Analysis Engineer
Position Description: BSME or MSME (preferred) 3 to 15 years experience.
Successful candidate must have developed strong analytical mechanical design skills and a knack for innovative solutions to technically challenging design problems through work experience in a research and/or a product development environment.
Responsibilities will include mechanical design analysis for a broad range of prototype, pre-commercial and new commercial products that are being developed in an R&D environment, with an emphasis on industrial product development.
In this role, you will take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion. You will generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and to support development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare design specifications, analyses, and make recommendations for presentation and approval. In addition, you will research, develop, and apply advanced mechanical engineering methods and theories in the solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
The design and analysis work scope encompasses the development of complete product designs and/or individual components and the analysis of performance data associated with design concepts. A solid working knowledge of the first principals of mechanical engineering is essential. Good analytical skills with a practical bent on applied research and development projects will be utilized in this position.
Requirements- BSME, MSME, preferred, or PhD, preferred (ABET Accredited)
- Minimum 3 years experience as a mechanical engineer
- Solid project management skills
- Strong computer skills including a version of PC based CAD (solid modeling), CAE (both structural and thermal desired), and general office software
- Strong analytical skills and mechanical design skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment
